At JM Salon our preferred method of installation is micro links, however we also offer other methods such as hand tied, machine weft and tape-ins. Your Hair health and safety is our top priority. We prefer the micro link method because we can have a more hands on approach from hand making our Organic Hair Extensions and feel as though this method gives your most undetectable and seamless look. The micro link method allows more free movement of the hair when installed and puts much less tension on your natural hair. The micro link method is completely undetectable and lightweight. Every clients hair is different and this method allows us to be very specific in placement and amount of hair that will be used.
Hand-tied hair extensions refer to a method of hair extension installation that involves attaching individual hair wefts to the natural hair using a meticulous hand-sewn technique. This technique ensures a seamless and natural-looking result, as the extensions are securely attached close to the scalp. Hand-tied hair extensions are known for their lightweight feel, flexibility, and ability to blend seamlessly with the client's natural hair, providing a voluminous and lengthened appearance.
Tapes are a type of permanent hair extension consisting of a 4cm wide section of hair secured at the top with a sticky tab that is attached to the hair. The adhesive used on tape extensions is a gentle medical glue.
This method is extreme quick to install to give you that added length in a fraction of the time. Tape extensions come in all different lengths and colours, they are also able to be cut to create smaller pieces for a subtle highlight effected.
